From time to time I use Twitter to find good and like-minded folk out there who may help in spreading the word about our DVD. And that’s how I came across Caitlin Fitzsimmons, a professional writer based in San Fransisco. I highly recommend you take a look at her travel/food blog ‘Roaming Tales‘.
I say this not only because it is a very fine read accompanied by photography of the highest order with tales from her travels all over the world, but because she has more than a passing interest in things megalithic and at this time of writing, is blogging most eloquently about the ancient treasures of Orkney.
The photo you can see in the image of her blog homepage above is, of course, of Skara Brae, the famous Neolithic village on the West coast of Orkney. The featured article on Skara Brae (Hobbit Homes in the Village of Skara Brae) is the 3rd and last in a series she has written about the megaliths of the island. I suggest you take a look at the other two first: Standing Stones and the Ring of Brodgar and Fairy Mounds and Maeshowe, but don’t forget to explore the rest of her fascinating blog.
